Giving Thanks in Advance.

Life is all about perspective.

We all have a set amount of time here.

I spent my past Saturday at a Bible study Brunch.

“Milk and Honey” was the theme.

It was beautiful.

Gorgeous women (inside and out) were in attendance.

Healthy (and delicious) food and beverages were included.

There was an abundance of scriptural deep dives.

It was truly a Christian girl’s fantasy.

I began to wonder to myself these past few days:

What else is waiting for me in my walk with Christ

I’ve truly felt myself growing closer to God in incremental ways since that day.

I have been praying more, being more intentional with my time, and have genuinely been, dare I say, EXCITED to read my Bible.

The work I have seen God do within me has been very noticeable, and it reminds me of that verse - Philippians 1:6

Which says: “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” (ESV)

The perspective of always waiting until I “arrive” at a certain place to give thanks has begun to dissipate.

I’m beginning to give God thanks in advance.

I am CURRENTLY walking out prayers that I sent up to God in the past.

If you think about it, we are always walking in answered prayers.

Though we may not see what we have been praying for recently, our faith has to be strong and unwavering. (Hebrews 11:1 KJV)

We must know in our heart of hearts that it will come to pass if it is in alignment with God’s will.

My dear sisters, as someone once used to tell me every Sunday: “be encouraged”.

Comment down below a blessing you have been walking in that you thanked God for in advance.
